This policy sets out the terms applicable to cancellations, returns, refunds, and exchanges for products ordered through our website.
↩️ 1. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with applicable regulations, consumers may, subject to legal exceptions, exercise their right of withdrawal within fourteen (14) calendar days from receipt of the product, without having to provide any reason for their decision.
Any request must be sent to contact@jdtainers.com before the expiry of this period.
📦 2. Return Procedure
Following notification of withdrawal, the customer has an additional period of thirty (30) calendar days to return the relevant product. Return instructions and the destination address will be provided by our customer service team.
✅ 3. Acceptance Conditions
Returned items must be sent back in their original condition, together with proof of purchase, and transported under appropriate conditions. Any return that does not meet these requirements may be refused.
🚫 4. Exclusions
Products that are personalised or manufactured to customer specifications, services that have already been fully performed, and goods damaged after receipt are generally not eligible for return or refund, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
🛠️ 5. Defective or Non-Conforming Products
In the event of an apparent defect, damage, or incorrect delivery, we ask customers to contact us within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt, providing their order number, a description of the issue, and, where possible, photographs. Depending on the circumstances, a repair, replacement, or refund may be offered.
💷 6. Return Costs
Unless otherwise required by law, return costs are the responsibility of the customer. However, return costs will be covered by JDTAINERS where the product is defective, damaged during transport, or does not match the original order.
💳 7. Refunds
Once the returned product has been received or proof of shipment has been provided, the request will be reviewed and, if approved, the refund will generally be processed within 7 to 10 business days using the original payment method. Bank processing times remain outside of our control.
🔄 8. Exchanges
Exchanges are primarily available for products that are defective, damaged during transport, or delivered incorrectly.
🚚 9. Responsibility for Return Transportation
Until the returned product has been effectively received by our services, it remains the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a carrier that provides appropriate tracking and insurance coverage.
